She was originally sentenced to seven years.

She pleaded guilty in 2019 to conspiracy to conceal and harbor illegal aliens and identity theft.

She and her sister Sara became committed followers and financial backers of NXIVM.

Clare and Sara are the daughters of Canadian billionaire Edgar Bronfman Sr.
