Jury selection is under way in the trial of a man accused of killing an Albany resident in 2022.

Justin Walker, 28, is charged with murder and conspiracy in the shooting death of 30-year-old Christopher Bryant. It happened on April 29, 2022 at in the area of Madison Avenue and Grant Street at around 11:45 p.m.

Police believe it was a targeted shooting. It was the city’s first homicide of 2022.
