Kids in Rotterdam honor veterans at special assembly
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara was honored on Thursday in Rotterdam, along with several other veterans.
Students at Bradt Primary School in the Mohonasen Central School District in Rotterdam held a special school assembly on Thursday to honor veterans.
Second-graders handed out handmade poppy flowers, read poems and sang several patriotic songs.
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, who served our country in the United States Army Reserve, also took part in the event.
