Kingsbury man arrested for making false report

A man from Kingsbury faces charges for allegedly reporting his vehicle was stolen, after giving up ownership.
State police in Granville say 54-year-old Anthony Goodspeed reported his car was stolen the afternoon of Sunday, April 16, after relinquishing his ownership in February.
According to state police, Goodspeed produced a duplicate title, along with a written statement that his vehicle had been stolen, when in reality police say he no longer owned it.
He’s expected back in court next Wednesday.
