Kitten recovering from brutal abuse; Latham man arrested
A person was arrested for allegedly injuring a kitten in Lansingburgh.

Preston Wido, 36, of Latham caused several significant injuries to a 2-month-old kitten named “Kit,” said investigators.
Kit’s owner brought the cat to a local veterinarian, where they found kit suffered a concussion, dislocated jaw, fractured pelvis, and part of his right ear was cut with a sharp object.
Kit is now recovering and back home with his owner.
