With the turn of the new year, Capital Region native Erik LaChance is celebrating a full decade in business. LaChance Insurance Company officially started doing business on January 1, 2015. The Siena grad took the leap to open his own State Farm agency and he can look back now with great pride after some nervous and uncertain times that come with owning a small business.
