Lake George Public works employee accused of driving vehicle while drunk

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (WNYT)- Daphne Millington, 21, a Lake George Public Works employee was arrested June 9 on a DWI charge , according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Millington, who is from South Glens Falls, was allegedly driving a Public Works vehicle when she hit a parked car and left the scene.

Police said they found Millington had been involved in the accident after an investigation.

When deputies caught up with Millington, she had a blood alcohol content of 0.16 %. She was charged with:

  • Leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident
  • Failure to use designated lane
  • Driving while intoxicated
  • Operating with a blood alcohol content over 0.08%

She was released and will appear in Lake George Town Court on a later date.
