Lansingburgh cancels all after school activities

Lansingburgh schools have canceled all after school activities, including after care because of the water main break.

The district said in a Facebook post that the break at 124th Street and 6th and 7th Avenue have caused a loss of water in their buildings.

The only exception is the junior varsity football game, which is still being played at Fonda-Fultonville.

School officials are also working on alternative bus routes because certain streets may be closed due to flooding and the district will send out another message with those plans.

Dropoff times will be delayed even though the district is planning to dismiss at the normal time.
