Large weekend fights at Crossgates Mall, Colonie Center under investigation

Guilderland Police are investigating a fight at Crossgates Mall on Sunday, as Colonie Police investigate something similar at Colonie Center.
The Crossgates fight started around 7:30 p.m. at Regal Cinema, said police, and involved several people under 18.
Several smaller fights were also reported within the mall.
A number of police departments were called in. Everything had broken up by around 9:30 p.m.

No serious injuries were reported, said police, and no arrests have been made at this time.
The Colonie Center fight involved also involved large groups of people under 18. In that case, they refused to leave the mall, police said, and gave security a tough time.

There was also no one arrested there. The crowd eventually dispersed.
