Students learn about the dangers of distracted driving by simulator.

Students at Colonie Central High School learned about the dangers of impaired and distracted driving with the help of a virtual reality simulation.

The international Save A Life Tour made a stop to the school. There were more than 15,000 killed from either impaired or distracted driving last year, according to the organization.

Students wore a virtual headset and had a motion base that allows them to feel the movements.
