The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation is looking for lifeguards for the upcoming 2024 season.

To be a lifeguard, you must complete a lifeguard certification course through the Red Cross or another state approved course.

Then you must complete the parks lifeguard qualifier.

There are four upcoming qualifiers currently scheduled, starting at April 27 at Ballston Spa High School.
