Sheryl Kurland has nothing to do with the cosmetics industry. She is helping victims of domestic violence — using lipsticks.
Kurland’s non-profit is called “Find Your Fabulosity” and she created it after she took civilian courses on domestic violence with the sheriff’s office in Daytona, Florida.
She did something her mom often suggested she do to make herself feel better and brighten her spirits – she started giving the women new lipsticks.
Now, she works with domestic violence centers across the country, using the power of lipstick to change women’s lives.
Learn about the big impact she says the lipsticks have been making on women by watching the video of Elaine Houston’s story.
