Man convicted of unlawful surveillance

A 46-year-old Loudonville man has been convicted of photographing a woman in a campground shower building. A jury found Mark L. Siciliano guilty of using his cell phone to photograph a young woman while she showered on Aug. 6, 2022 at the Warrensburg Travel Park and Riverfront Campground.

A 46-year-old Loudonville man has been convicted of photographing a woman in a campground shower building.

A jury found Mark L. Siciliano guilty of using his cell phone to photograph a young woman while she showered on Aug. 6, 2022 at the Warrensburg Travel Park and Riverfront Campground, according to the Warren County District Attorney’s Office.

Siciliano was found guilty of three counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance.

Siciliano, who was a regular visitor at the campground, was located and arrested by members of the New York State Police shortly after the incident.     

Siciliano claimed that he was in the bathroom trying to take pictures of lightning through the window. He faces a maximum sentence of 1 1/3 to four years in prison when sentenced on Jan. 3 at 9:30 a.m. He was sent to Warren County Jail.

Warren County District Attorney Jason Carusone thanked the jury for its verdict and also the work of New York State Police Troopers Timothy Hanaburgh and Anthony Ward and Assistant District Attorney Connor Smith.

Siciliano was represented by attorneys Stephen Coffey and Michael Lawson.
