Macy’s at Crossgates, Colonie Center not on list of store closures

The Macy’s stores at Colonie Center and Crossgates Mall will remain open.

Macy’s had announced they were closing around 150 locations across the country.

NewsChannel 13 reached directly out to them asking if the Crossgates or Colonie Center locations were on the list. They responded they are not.

In a statement, Macy’s said the decision to close 150 stores “allows us to focus our investments and resources on Macy’s go-forward locations including full line, furniture and current off-mall locations and Bloomie’s, Bloomingdale’s The Outlet and Bluemercury Stores. ”
