People in Malta and nearby areas were busy cleaning up from violent storms that hit on Thursday. The powerful storms only hit a small part of the Capital Region, while other areas barely saw any rain at all.

A large pine tree fell through the roof of a home on Sand Spurrey Road. That home is now unlivable.
Fortunately, there are no reports of injuries, but there are still plenty of unpleasant memories.
People who were in the town during the storm said it’s probably hard for people who weren’t there to understand the power and unpredictability of Mother Nature, unless they witnessed what happened.
