Malta woman arrested on bench warrant for criminal sale of controlled substance

33-year-old Laura M. McClements of Malta was arrested on January 30 by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on a bench warrant from the Wilton Town Court.
McClements had been charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, said the Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say she was also charged with second-degree bail jumping after allegedly failing to appear in court within 30 days of the required date, after being allowed to remain at liberty in connection with being charged with a felony.
She was arraigned in Wilton Town Court, released on her own recognizance, and ordered to report to probation pending further proceedings.
