Man accused of assaulting teens at Schaghticoke home

A nine-count indictment unsealed in Rensselaer County accuses a 43-year-old man of rape and sexual assault.
According to court documents, Johan Giraldo assaulted two 14-year-old victims.
The first alleged incident happened on June 7 and another on June 16. The assaults happened at a home in Schaghticoke.
Giraldo is facing several charges, including predatory sexual assault. That’s the most severe charge in the nine-count indictment.
