Man accused of concealing two dogs related to investigation, charged with tampering of evidence

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old William R. Bott of Valley Falls, NY on an arrest warrant from Halfmoon Town Court on August 14.
Authorities say Bott was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and tampering with physical evidence.
He is accused of hiding two dogs that were going to be produced or used in an official proceeding or prospective official proceeding relating to an animal abuse complaint from May 9 on Brookwood Road in Halfmoon, said the Sheriff’s Office.
Bott was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and released to pretrial services pending further action in the matter.
