Man accused of killing ex-girlfriend back in court
Prosecutors are ready to proceed to trial in the case of Sebastian Mabb, who is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend.
The man accused of killing his former partner was back in court Thursday afternoon.
Sebastian Mabb, 31, allegedly killed Brianna Craig, the mother of his child, inside her home on Vanderbilt Terrace during a domestic incident on Feb. 6. He smothered her with a pillow, law enforcement sources told NewsChannel 13.
Prosecutors told Judge Jim Murphy that they are ready to proceed to trial, and they’re still waiting for lab and DNA reports and the results of a search of Mabb’s social media.
The Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office has not made a plea offer, but Murphy has set May 6 for a hearing to accept or reject any offers.
Brianna’s family wore yellow shirts in court to show their support.
Mabb was sent back to jail without bail.
