Man pleads not guilty in 2021 Albany homicide

A man has been indicted in a 2021 Albany homicide.
Nicholas Anderson, 28, pleaded not guilty to a two-count indictment that was unsealed in Albany County Court on Monday.
He’s accused of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police say Anderson killed Rashad Nicholson in the area of Third and Oak streets in July 2021.
Anderson is due back in court on December 19.
