Man arrested after brief foot chase in Clifton Park

An Oneida County man was arrested on Tuesday after a brief foot chase that put a Clifton Park elementary school into lockout.

Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 201 Foxwood Drive at about 12:15 p.m. for a report of a possible trespassing. While investigating the complaint, a man jumped out of the window.

The man, 20-year-old Correll Robinson-Lewis, had a warrant from the city of Utica for a probation violation on a felony charge.

Robinson-Lewis, of New York Mills, was arrested and charged with misdemeanors of obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. He was released on appearance tickets and due in Clifton Park Town Court on a later date.

Okte Elementary School went into lockout during the foot pursuit. The school resource officer and several additional sheriff’s units were present at the school for security during this time.
