Man arrested for DWI after collision with utility pole
New details on a car crash in Colonie, that left several homes without power Friday night.

Colonie police tell us a Watervliet man was driving drunk when he crashed into a utility pole just before 11 p.m. near Boght and Meadowbrook Roads.
Boght Road was closed for several hours while the pole was repaired.
Police say the driver took off, but was quickly arrested, and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Police have not yet released the man’s name.
