Hackworth has been charged with, attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victims, a 13-year-old child and a 52-year-old woman, were conscious and alert when police arrived to the apartment building Sunday morning just after 10 a.m. They were in stable condition at Albany Medical Center Sunday evening, Guilderland Police Captain Eric Batchelder said at a news conference Sunday afternoon.
