Arrest made in unprovoked Albany stabbing

A man was arrested in connection with a stabbing in Albany from earlier this week.
Jacob Hooper, 41, was charged with assault and weapons possession.
The stabbing happened on Madison Avenue and Eagle Street on Monday morning. It was unprovoked, said investigators.
The victim went to the hospital for an arm injury.
Hooper was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail without bail.
