Man charged with attempted murder in Albany

A man was charged in Albany County Court on Thursday with attempted murder.
Michael Johnson pleaded not guilty to second-degree attempted murder, and criminal possession of a weapon.
He’s accused of trying to kill someone by shooting them near Second Street in Albany back on August 29.
Johnson was sent to the Albany County Jail, and is due back in court in October.
