Man charged with burglary in Amsterdam

A man is behind bars, accused of robbing a business in the city of Amsterdam.
Marcos Mercado, 43, broke into a home on Glen Avenue on June 14 and stole power tools.
The next morning surveillance video from two businesses – including a Dollar General – showed Mercado leaving with money, investigators said.
He faces felony burglary and petit larceny charges.
