Man charged with felony gun possession in Albany
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on felony gun possession charges.
Nazair Joseph, 23, had a loaded handgun in his car, they said.
That gun was found after police searched his vehicle following a car chase.
This all happened when deputies attempted to pull Joseph over for a traffic violation.
An investigation revealed that he was currently on release from custody on a $50,000 bail bond.

He had previously been taken into custody for illegally possessing firearms in Troy.
Joseph is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful fleeing a police officer and reckless driving.
