A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Schenectady.
The Schenectady Police Department said the accident happened just after 9 p.m. Tuesday night on Van Vranken Ave. between Kenwood St. and Mason St.
The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center to be treated. Officials said the driver involved is cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing at this time.
