Man injured in Schenectady shooting

A man was injured in a shooting in Schenectady on Sunday on Albany Street.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Quinn’s Deli at 1114 Albany St. Two minutes later, police received a call for a person shot and officers went to an address on Duane Avenue to investigate, according to a news release.

Police found an adult man with a gunshot wound who confirmed the incident happened near Quinn’s. The victim was treated on scene by city fire personnel then transported to Albany Medical Center. He is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
