Man killed after being hit by car in Albany

A 64-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Albany. Investigators think the man was lying in the road before he was hit, they said.

It happened around 1:15 Wednesday morning at Washington Avenue and Quail Street.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver has been cooperative, police said.

The victim’s identity won’t be released until family is notified.
