Ozzie Gardner, 44, was shot in the chest around 12:45 Monday morning. The shooting happened at Second and Judson streets, police said. Gardner was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center.

Gardner had been fighting with another person during a party, said police, and the victim and suspect knew each other.
