Man killed in Amsterdam fire
A man has died in an Amsterdam fire.
The fire broke out in a second-floor apartment at 42 Stewart Street Monday evening, investigators said.
A man who got out told emergency crews his roommate was still inside.
Firefighters found the body of David Crandell, 43, a short time later.
The cause is under investigation, but investigators said they don’t think it’s suspicious.
