Mass MoCA union members are officially on strike.

At least 75 union members and supporters marched outside the museum Wednesday morning to kick off the first day.

The union made public its intention to strike last week, according to NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle, and 97% of workers voted in favor.

The union and the museum have been bargaining unsuccessfully over wages since October.

The union staged a one-day strike in 2022 to ratify its first contract.
