Mass shooting in Raleigh kills five, suspect in critical condition

New information on a deadly shooting in North Carolina.

Raleigh is the latest city impacted by a mass shooting.

The crime scene stretched more than two miles.

The first shots came just after 5 p.m. Thursday night, as neighborhood kids were getting off the school bus. 

Saturday morning we’re hearing from a woman who was at home – and heard screams outside.

The suspect remains in the hospital in critical condition.

The Raleigh community grieving from the latest mass shooting, gathered Saturday to remember those killed.

Vigil attendees took part in a moment of silence to pay respects to the victims.

People could also be seen holding candles as well as flowers in their hands.

We’re also learning of a heartbreaking final voicemail one of the victims left her fiancée, and the moment officers told him his future wife was killed.

35 year old Mary Marshall, a navy veteran, was killed Thursday along with 4 of her neighbors.

The suspect is a 15-year-old that is still hospitalized in critical condition.
