A Milton man is facing felony criminal contempt charges, accused of violating a restraining order.

Investigators responded to a trespassing complaint at a home on Rowland Street in Milton around 10 p.m. Thursday, they said.

William Apholz, 41, was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.

Apholz is facing felony charges because of a previous conviction, the sheriff’s office said.

There was an unrelated warrant for not appearing in court on possession charges from Wilton.

He was arraigned in Milton and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
