Two teenagers who were lured away from a residential treatment facility by an exploiter have been found in Cohoes.

According to the Child Center of New York, Le’Airra Ivery and Jackeline Caraballo were found in Cohoes on the evening of October 14.

Traci Donnelly, CEO of The Child Center of New York, released this statement;

“We are beyond relieved that the girls were found safely. Their families can breathe again knowing their children can come home to the support, love, and services they need. We will continue to work with the girls and their parents every step of the way as they begin on the path towards healing from this experience.”

Before being found, concerns were abundant for the two missing teens who were believed to be in Troy.

They say 15-year-old Jackeline Caraballo and 14-year-old Le’Airra Ivery, had been without their medication for 10 days.

The teens were reported missing from a residential treatment facility in Brooklyn on September 29.

The child center said they might have been in contact with a known exploiter.
