Police said a 70-year-old man missing from Voorheesville has been found dead.

Investigators had been looking for George Klopfer. They thought he may have been seen on the bike path in the area of the New Scotland/Bethlehem town line around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

An autopsy will be done on Thursday, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

Police did not release additional information about where he was found.
