The department launched rapid response vehicles, that will support EMS in the event of a delayed response, or if an ambulance is not available.
Four deputies, trained as EMTs, will man the vehicle.

Within the next month, there will also likely be deputy EMS coordinators available to respond in rapid response vehicles as well.
