Montgomery County road closure expected to cause detours for two months

A road closure in Montgomery County will cause detours.
State Route 5S between Church Street and Thruway Exit 29 in the village of Canajoharie will remain closed for around two months.
The New York State Department of Transportation says crews are doing some bridge work.
Motorists will have to detour through Fultonville, using State Route 5 and State Route 5S.
Thruway traffic coming in or out of Canajoharie will be directed to Thruway Exits 28 and 29A.
