Montgomery County woman charged with welfare fraud

A Montgomery County woman faces felony welfare fraud charges, accused of filing multiple false claims and stealing thousands of dollars.
Tanya Nicotera, 42, of Saint Johnsville is accused of taking more than $18,000 from nine SNAP applications from September 2018 to October 2022.
Nicotera is scheduled to appear in the town of Mohawk Court at a later date.
