A Moreau man already convicted of DWI is accused of driving drunk and falling asleep at the wheel.

Layne Shekowitz, 32, was found on the shoulder of the Northway in Saratoga Springs, said state police.

Troopers say he was sleeping behind the wheel while the car was running. After police say he refused a breathalyzer test, he was brought to the state police station in Queensbury.

He was arraigned and released from Moreau Town Court on his own recognizance.
