Motorcycle, ATV drivers thrown in serious Schaghticoke crash

A motorcycle and ATV driver are in serious condition after crashing in Schaghticoke. The motorcycle could not avoid the ATV and struck it, causing both drivers to be thrown from their vehicles, police said.

The crash happened just before noon on Sunday in the area of River Road.

The motorcycle was traveling north when the ATV entered the roadway from the shoulder. Both vehicles could not avoid each other.

The drivers were taken to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries. One person is in critical but stable condition and the other is in stable condition, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
