Music will fill the air at Belmont Stakes this weekend
Belmont Stakes Racing Festival Concert lineup includes IMI and country star Tom Nitt
In addition to great horse racing, there will also be live music during the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival.
The Purdy’s Summer Music Stage features music from the band IMI on Friday.
Saturday will feature music from “The Voice” Season 24 contestant and country singer Tom Nitty in the morning followed by ILL Funk in the afternoon.
Singer/songwriter and actress Idina Menzel will perform “New York, New York” on the day of the Belmont Stakes. Also, Sgt. Maj. MaryKay Messenger, lead vocalist for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point will sing “God Bless America” at 10:30 a.m. and the National Anthem at 3:40 p.m.
Sunday will feature music from Alex Torres and His Latin Orchestra on the Purdy’s Summer Music Stage.
