National Grid is increasing their staffing to prepare for the storm.

They will be extending evening and overnight shifts to prepare for the heavy snow, high winds and potential for freezing rain, they told NewsChannel 13.

They’re also pre-staging crews in areas they think will be the most impacted.

The utility reminds customers that if the power goes out, the best way to report it is through their website.
