National Grid: Power restored to 90% of customers

Ninety percent of people who lost power in the nor’easter this week now have it back, National Grid said.

There were 139,000 National Grid customers out at the peak of the storm, they said. That’s down to just over 14,600 now.

Most outages are expected to be fixed by 11:30 Wednesday evening. Some of the smaller outages may extend into Thursday, National Grid said.

Meantime, other power companies in our area are all reporting power outage numbers below 10,000.
