New 911 dispatch center under construction at Albany Police Department

Construction is underway on a new 911 dispatch center – scheduled to be complete by the end of this year.
It’ll be located at the Albany Police Department Headquarters on Henry Johnson Boulevard.
It’s expected to give first responders with updated technology to better suit their needs.
The current 911 dispatch center will be converted into a new space for the Traffic Patrol Division.
