New Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s one-step closer in Clifton Park

The plan for a Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Store in Clifton Park is moving forward.
The town’s planning board granted preliminary approval with some minor modifications.
The company said in February it is aiming to open a nearly 77,000 square foot building at the former Northstar Chevrolet dealer on Clifton Park Center Road.
This will be the fourth Bass Pro Shops location in New York state.
The store will have to modify their plans and they are aiming to get final approval by mid-October.
