The 2024 Black History Month exhibit in the New York State Capitol is officially open.

The exhibit celebrates the 60th anniversary of the passage of the Civil Rights act of 1964 and the New Yorkers who helped pave the way for its passage.

The exhibit is in the Governor’s Reception Room on the Capitol’s second floor. It runs through Feb. 29.
