Details are becoming clearer about a man accused of robbing two stores.
Daniel McKay II of Amsterdam threatened employees at Ben & Jerry’s with a weapon, but didn’t show one, police said.
McKay allegedly then took cash from the register and ran from the store.
While they were investigating, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a second robbery at a Stewart’s on Route 9 in Malta.
McKay demanded money while once again saying he was armed, the sheriff’s office said.
