New York state is now providing direct support to child care providers with new grant funding.
Applications are now open for providers to apply for relief funding from a pool of more than $340 million.
The New York State Office of Children and Family Services will give out the funds.
The new grants will help strengthen infrastructure for child care and support a workforce that has struggled with the pandemic.
